Construction of a new plant, development of production technology and procurement of machinery aimed at increasing production capacity

Within the framework of the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Program, based on the call titled “Support for complex investments of medium-sized food industry companies”, the PRIVÁT Meat Processing Limited Liability Company, as the Beneficiary, received a non-refundable grant of HUF 741 million and a repayable loan of HUF 761 million from the European Regional Fund and from the domestic central budget appropriation.
The development carried out at PRIVÁT Húsfeldolgozó Kft. aims to increase its production capacities and, through the optimization of its processes, to expand the storage and technological space serving to create capacity harmony, and to produce products with higher added value. This development is a complex, compound investment, which includes, on the one hand, real estate and infrastructure investment (construction of a gross 3300m2 two-story facility directly connected to the existing one), supplemented by the use of renewable energy technologies (installation of solar panels), and, on the other hand, the purchase of new production equipment and machinery, the development of new technological systems and capacities, and the development of a corporate management IT system. It received non-refundable support and a refundable loan of 761 million HUF from the European Regional Fund and the domestic central budget appropriation.
The development focuses on three main professional areas: Dry goods production, Packaging, Warehousing. The project was implemented within the framework of the Széchenyi Plan Plus program, within the framework of the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Program, under the call titled “Support for complex investments of medium-sized food industry companies”. The intensity of the non-refundable support is 37%, which meant 741,065,492 HUF in European Union support for PRIVÁT Húsfeldolgozó Kft. The main activity of the Company is meat processing, which is also linked to the investment. The implementation location is the Company’s headquarters, located at 2 Izzó utca, 7400 Kaposvár.
